After many months in lockdown, Barcelona and most of Spain are slowly re-opening and ending the lockdown restrictions. Many people are ready to head out and socialize with friends and family. So here at Casamona we have made a list of the most interesting activities to do.
Were you stuck in for too long? Get outside!
If the lockdown had you in the house doing nothing most of the day, well, now is the time to get outside! Going for a run or some exercise is perfect while the weather is nice. Forget about the gym, it can be pricey, and fresh air will do you so much better. Barcelona has plenty of open spaces that offer an opportunity to get a quick workout in. Working out is one of the most popular activities in Barcelona!
Parks & Recreation
Barcelona is an enormous place and it has a huge variety of options when it comes to green spaces! If you live in the city and your apartment has no access to gardens or parks, these parks will be perfect for you. Whether it’s going for a walk or maybe a picnic with your friends, Barcelona’s parks are right for this. Beautiful parks like Horta Maze are worth the visit Cuitadella, Guell, Montjuic, are the most famous ones!
Pubs & Restaurants
If you’re one of those people who enjoys going out and drinking with your friends, this could be the perfect escape! The bars and restaurants in Barcelona have an amazing, comfortable atmosphere. Now is the right time to appreciate good food again. If the weather is nice and you would love to visit a rooftop bar, Alaire is a great option located in the centre of Eixample. It’s one of the most famous rooftops in the city so it is a must go!
If you want a taste of the culture and a Tapas bar tickles your fancy, we love Bodega 1900! You can also find out more about tapas restaurants we reckoned on our blog post!
Do you miss your loved ones?
This might be the most important one, you can now go and visit the people you miss the most. Having the chance to go have dinner at your parent’s place is priceless, so make the most of seeing your friends and loved ones. Social interaction is a necessity for humans but adapting to the new norms of greeting the people you love will be challenging, especially after being inside for so long.
While it is important and necessary to visit your loved ones, it is always important to take the appropriate safety precautions when you’re out and about. It is important to remember the updated rules regarding masks and social distancing. It is about a balance between having fun and being sensible.
